by on May.29, 2011, under Tsem Tulku Rinpoche

Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s highly popular book “Gurus for Hire, Enlightenment for Sale” had been translated into Chinese and published by the biggest publisher in Taiwan (left), but due to its huge popularity in the Chinese world, it was bootlegged in China (right) and being sold at the price of…less than USD2 per book, well, they say imitation is the best form of flattery…

But now you don’t have to buy the bootleg version, you can get it for free (English version)!! Just see here: http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/books-poetry/gurus-for-hire-give-away.html

Rinpoche saves Baby Chuah!

by on May.20, 2011, under Tsem Tulku Rinpoche

This is Liaison Chuah Su Ming’s brother’s newborn, one day before the delivery, Su Ming’s mother requested advice from Tsem Tulku Rinpoche because the baby’s mother was experiencing some complications, and Rinpoche straightaway advised over 20 pujas to be done in the monastery for the baby and also some mantras to be done by the famil…y. The next day when the baby was born, and for the first 2 minutes he did not breathe and turned blue, and was immediately admitted in ICU. After a few days of observation in ICU, the baby was discharged and is now fine and healthy.

When Liaison Beng Kooi was requesting this divination from Rinpoche, I was massaging Rinpoche’s neck and shoulder from behind, and Rinpoche went into contemplation for a while and gave the advice of what pujas and mantras to be done for the baby, without even asking for his divination dice or asking me to stop massaging for a moment.

When Rinpoche uses dice to do divination in front of people, it is just to show humility, Rinpoche DOES NOT NEED any aiding device to tell us the divination, nor will surrounding disturbances affect His clairvoyant ability in any way.

Tsem Rinpoche blessing Kechara Oasis Vegetarian Restaurant @ Viva Home

by on May.15, 2011, under Tsem Tulku Rinpoche

On April 11, 2011, Tsem Rinpoche and a few students visited Kechara Oasis Vegetarian Restaurant @ Viva Home, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur which was nearly completed. Rinpoche did a blessing at the restaurant.

Kechara Oasis Viva Home (KOVH) at Jalan Loke Yew, Cheras, is strategically located at the edge of Kuala Lumpur which is within 10 minutes’ drive from the ‘Golden Triangle’. It has excellent accessibility to densely populated surrounding surburbs of both established and new residential townships.

Kechara Oasis Viva Home bring vegetarian dining to a whole new level. The theme and deco for the KOVH is a celebration of vivid colours with contemporary lighting. It is 11,446 square feet with a 50-table dining ballroom for weddings and events as well as 5 individual private rooms. It includes a star-studded stage with a lighted runway for a grand entrance. There is also a terrace for casual dining and a Japanese tatami dining area with Tibetan feel. Each room and dining area has a different feel and a character of its own. This is the first ever 5-star vegetarian dining venue in Malaysia. The restaurant project is handled by Rinpoche’s long-time student Irene Lim.
